Ingest
Add a syllabus or textbook file — the same core ingestion path as every surface. A parsed syllabus is placed on the calendar only after you confirm it.
New course
Create a course from its syllabus document (JSON with a course name, weeks and topics, and an exam_date if it has one). The course joins the switcher above; its plan and countdown follow the same core rules as the bundled courses, and its progress is stored under its own keys — never mixed with another course's.
